Hi, Judy, and all who graciously responded to my question:
The list on the website (www.netlap.hu/vasarnopiuysag/hosok.htm)
has headings and they are translated as follows:
nev - name
rendfokozat = military classification (such as, soldier)
szuletesiido - birth date (or birth time)
anyja neve = mother's name
lakhely = residence
Sad to say this is then, indeed, a WWII list of the dead in Hungary, and
not a record of the dead in WWI. I had so hoped to find some record of
my husband's grandather, missing in WWI and never heard from again.
Again, thanks,
Joan W.
