Does anyone, have any links or expertise or knowledge in the link between
the ancient Scythians and the Hungarian language and/or race. In my research
on the Scythians, I have read where some of their graves were located in
Hungary as well as in parts of Russia and Afghanistan and other places. I
understand, that they lived at the base of the Carpathian Basin and migrated
from that base after 1 A.D.
From my readings, I understand that Hungarian historians consider the
Hungarian language to be based on this ancient language. Plus, some
historians consider them to be the ancestors of groups of Hungarians who
settled there after 1 A.D.
Does anyone have any knowledge on this subject or references they might
share.
