I have received several messages such as "by default, copies of your own
submissions will be returned", "the following addresses have fatal errors
'' " and "you have received this message because you
sent an E-mail to a RootsWeb mailing list server and it has been unable to
determine what to do with it". I have subscribed and unsubscribed several
times trying to correct the problem. Also, I E-mailed the help address on one
of the messages and received another message that the address was incorrect.
I checked and had typed the address correctly. Will someone please let me
know if this is received? I don't want the digest mode but will take it if
necessary.

Also, do I have to register or join the Ellis Island list in order to use
that list? I am unable to get through even though I have tried at all hours
of the night. I am so frustrated. Someone please help if possible. Thank you,
