Hello Ruth,
I found your name thru a search of www.google.com for "Dorogi" genealogy.
My great grandfather was Andrew Dorogi his wife was Barbara Drummer (Dobos).
Andrew was born in Hungary in 1868 and died in Ohio, Toledo in 1928. My great
grandmother, Barbara, was born 1878 in Hungary and died in Toledo in 1951.
Andrew came to the U.S. some time around 1900 before the age of 18. I only
know that Andrew was from Borsod.
My hope is to find someone such as yourself that might have knowledge of
the Dorogi family, possibly even being a cousin. I am interested in learning
of my Hungarian heritage but am lost as to where to start. Any assistance
that you might offer would be sincerely appreciated.
