Question: Does anyone know anything about the village of Vegardo, just
north of Sarospatak? I've looked at all the films the LDS (both Roman
Catholic and Greek Catholic - which is what my great grandfather was)
have of this village and need to go back past the 1778 year that the
films start - any ideas of where I can go from here?

Researching, in Vegardo: Varga, Kiss, Kelecsa, Vinczler, Safranjos,
Matisz, Stefan,Bodnar, Balogh, Budy? Besdy?, (Andreas married Anna
Kopitar and they had four children: Maria 1817, Anna 1822, Joannes 1824,
and Josephus 1827) Some places the name looks like Besdy with two dots
above the "es" and some places it looks like Budy with two dots above the
"u" - Does anyone know what the real spelling is?
