Hi Dennis,

Kisbri was a very small village in the old Hungarian megye (county) of
Zempln, jrs (district) of Storaljajhely. It is no wonder you cannot
find it on the map as it is very difficult to spot. Go to this site:
http://lazarus.elte.hu/hun/maps/1910/vmlista.htm
and download the map for Zempln. Come down the 45' line of longitude into
the red area (Storaljajhely jrs). When you seen the settlement of
Storaljajhely, directly to the east and straight up the line of longitude
about 1" if you look real close you will see the name Bari. Just to the
left, you will see the letter "N" and below it, the letter "K." These stand
for Nagy (Big or Larger) and KIs (Little or Small). Kisbri is the lower
dot. Today, this village is in Slovakia and is called Mla Bara.

In neither of my gazeteers can I find a village name Litkan, however, in the
old Abaj-Torna megye, Cserehti jrs, there was a village called Litka. I
have a strong feeling this is what you are looking for as it is fairly close
to Kisbri, if fact, it was the next megye to the west. From the webpage
cited above, download the map for Abaj-Torna. Come down the 21 line of
longitude into the green area. Approx. 7-8 km. south east of the
intersection of the longitude and latitude lines is Litka. Today, this
village is in Hungary. You can use the interactive map at this site:
http://lazarus.elte.hu/moterkep/mb.htm to see it. Click on the "L" then
scroll to Litka.
