I know that different regions had different costumes. My mother was really up
on these. She described how they were worn to church services etc. and which
areas had the most elaborate. I remember, as a child, that both of my parents
(in the US) would dress up for Hungarian parties they had! I am sure there
are books that describe the various costumes.....
