Hi Alex,

you might not realize but Nagy and Horváth belong to some of the most
common names in Hungary! A 'blind' search for your grandparents' origin
is a waste of time. (By the way, the two URLs you received are search
engines directed mainly into the Hungarian portion of the Internet.)

If you are really interested in finding your roots, get birth
certificates for your parents (and all old documents you can find around
the attic, etc. Aunts, cousins and old neighbors can also help with some
of the details. And write down everything.) Their parents' place of
birth might or might not be listed. In the latter case you will have to
find the ship manifests with the passenger lists your grandparents
arrived in this country. Branches of the National Archives and the FHCs
(Family History Centers of the Mormons) have these on microfilm. (Of
course you have to guess or know which port they arrived at and around
when.) The ship lists usually provide, age, place of birth or at least
where they were residing, closest relative remaining there and where
they were heading in US. (Different times and ships provided different
information depending upon the laws of the US.) If your grandparents
married here, marriage certificates will provide their parents' names.
If they married in the old country back to the ship's lists.

There are a lot of helpful people here and elsewhere, but some of the
'ground work' will have to be done by you ... and I might add this is
years (if not decades) of work.

Regarding your second question: there is no town or village called
Nagy - by itself. But there are hundreds of towns and villages where the
name is part (usually first part) of the name; simply means 'large' or
'great'. And the family name means the same.
