Hi! Sylvia.
Thank you for your response on my query! At this time I have not found
an Emma, however, Edelka and Katalin may of had more family in Hungary
which is an unknown at this time. Below is additional information I did
not post that may give you a surname that goes with your Emma HUSZAR
research. Where did Emma live? Let's keep in touch!
When locating information became difficult on Edelka family in Hungary,
I took another route. I began searching for more information on her
sister Katalin. The following has been located
Katalin married a Anton KAVASCEVITCH they had one son, Anton left her
and went back to Hungary taking the son with him. (Nothing know about
Anton and son) Katalin later married John ROHRBACH on 05 Nov 1900 in
Bandera Co. Tx. She fell ill and died 11 Apr. 1918. Located her Will
dated 26 Feb 1918 was type by a local attorney. The spelling of the
towns appear to be incorrect. I hope someone will recognize the names
and locations. The following information is the only documentation I
have on the Huszar family and to their homeland. The Will mentions "to
her niece Marie KREUTZER, and a Kotleri IRMA both of Barang Mege, Varas
Mart, Austria Hungary. And, Anna WATZEK wife of Paul WATZEK of Neu
Kettenhof, No. 42, Schwechat near Wien Austria. Also located in the
1910 Bandera Co. Texas Census, ED 9 Dist. 15, Sheet 1901 Family 76,
Katalin is listed with her husband John Rohrback. The writing is very
poor and difficult to read. She mentions Hesni ? Meggar L and Ressn ?.
Question #1: Do anyone have any idea where the location of the towns
are?
There is a great possibility the attorney may have spelled the town
phonically and with a Texas twang too! Can't seem to locate Barang Mege
or Varas Mart! Have any ideas?
