Dear Listers,
As a Mac user since 1984, I've tried every conceivable genealogy software & I
concur that Reunion 6.0 is the only one worth spending your money on!
Everything else is incompatible with the Magyar alphabet. You enter the data
& seem to have no problems until you try to create descendant charts, etc.
I've had more crashes & system failures than enough! I've used Reunion 6.0
since January of this year & now have over 4500 names in the database & it
works like a charm. I can't say enough good things about it. The earlier
versions were no good though.
I was born in Hungary & speak, read and write the Magyar language perfectly,
so I insist on having all the names of people and places spelled correctly.
Many of my notes & comments are in Hungarian as well, with English
translations, so it was important to find a piece of software that was able
to handle this!
