I thought I had remembered some early Hungarian tax records being listed in
the LDS Family History Catalogue. I just did a catalogue search under
Hungary, then scrolled to Taxation and found numerous records - mostly
beginning in the 1700s, but some from as early as 1644. Sorry, their site
wouldn't let me copy them but here is the URL (if you want to copy and paste

Mostly I think these are feudal record, from what little I know.
