Hi Dezsoe,

There is a great history of the region at this site:

http://www2.genealogy.net/gene/reg/ESE/dsbatsch.html

I learned a lot. My mother's people came from the villages of Doroslov and
Kula, southern Batscka, what became Vojvodina, Jugoslavia. Even though they
were ethnic Hungarians, and not ethnic Germans, it's a great site for
information of the region, with links to info on some villages.
