Hi,

I recently obtained an extraction of grandmothers baptismal certificate. The
extraction was done in 1921 by the curator of the Greek Catholic Church that
they attended and is in Latin.

I have absolutely no idea if her parents came from Hungary, but I'm posting
this here because my grandfathers family did and it's possible that my
grandmothers did also. The extraction lists the following as the birthplaces
of her parents:

Topolyan com. Zempléa

Szsranyani com. Zempléa

Does anyone have any idea where these are and/or what they would be
translated from the Latin?

Any help appreciated.
