Hello Hungarians!

My friend Louis Balogh is looking for more on his family. He doesn't
have internet service so I am helping!

BALOGH - BALOG/ BENDES FAMILY

Lou's Father was Charles BALOGH b 9 Sep 1909 Cleveland, Cuyahoga, Ohio,
d 10 Sep 1989

He was the son of Káróly Balog b 27 Oct 1883 in Kajár, Györmegye,
Hungary and Zsophia BENDES b 1 Aug 1885 in Gecse, Vespremmegye,
Hungary. They were md 27 Dec 1909 in Cleveland. This pair returned to
Hungary and Lou was born there.

Káróly Balog's father was István Balog b 2 Jan 1858 also in Kajár, d 28
June 1886
His Mother was Zsophia Bertalan b 3 Apr 1864 in Hungary [place not
known], d 7 Nov 1950 in Kajárpéc, Györmegye, Hungary;

István's Father was István Balog and his mother Érszébeth Bertalan, This
is all we know.

Zsophia BERTALAN [Káróly Balog's Mother] was the daughter of John [Jan]
Bendes, b 16 May 1859 [where?] and d 18 Jun 1910 in Cleveland, OH; he md
Zsuzsanna Varga b. ? In Szerecseny,
Hungary, d 1935 in Kajárpé, Györmegye, Hungary.

John [Jan] BENDES father was János Bendes [Sr.] b 1835, and Aszony
Nemtudom [1838 - 1920]; This is all we know on this line.

If anyone recognizes any of this or can suggest any books or resources
of any kind, we would appreciate it.
