I'm looking for the family of Julia ( Julianna ) and Joseph (Julius )
JYARMATH
They came to America from Vas, Szergeny, Hungary according to the funeral
home
records for Julia. Julia's maiden name was PUR (pronounced Poor ) and her
father's name was Steven. Julia's siblings were Marie (Mrs Joseph)
Bodor--living
in the USA, and Rose ( Mrs. Paul ) Breznay, John, and Frank,--living in
Europe.

They came to the USA in 1905 when their daughter, Lena, was about 3 years
old.
Julia ran a boarding house. In 1911 a second daughter, Elizabeth, was
born, I
think in New Jersey. Lena met a man named Joseph HERCZEG who was working
in the mines and living at the boarding house. They were married on July
10th, 1921.
Shortly after that all moved to West Virginia because their sons were
born in Logan
County W.Va. in 1922, 1924, and 1926. Joseph died either in New Jersery
just before
they left, or in West Va. shortly after they got there. The family left
W.Va in 1927 and
moved to Cleveland Ohio. The whole family stayed together, Julia and
daughter
Elizabeth, and Lena Joseph and sons, through all these moves.
Julia died on March 18, 1950. Lena died on Feb. 18, 1981. Elizabeth died
on Jan
19, 1997. Joseph HERCZEG became a citizen in 1930 and Lena became a
citizen in 1940

Any information that anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your time.

Patty Herczeg
