I will add to that

Part of the South Eastern side of Zemplen County is not far from
Tisza River in northern Hungary on the Eastern side.
Part of old Zemplen is in Slovakia

The old pre 1921 bordering counties were
Ung to the East
Szabolcs to the East
Borsod to the South West
Abauj to the West
Saros to the West
