I thought it might be a translation for Julian - with Julius being the
Latin version. Does anyone know why the name JULIANNA
is very popular with Hungarian ladies in the old country? Was there a
notorious St. Juliana or Julian for the Hungarians as there was a
St. Elizabeth? I also wonder about the name of Susanna .
