Has anyone during the course of researching Greek Catholic church records
come agross the name of Kmetyk.
My father Josef Kmetyk was born in Szczawnik in the Nowy Sacz district of
SE Poland.
He has told me that when he was little he had to cross the border to
Czechoslovakia to work land that belonged to the family. This got me
thinking that perhaps my grandfather Tymoteusz Kmetyk came from this side
of the border as examination of LDS film on Szczawnik shows no Kmetyk's pre
1924.

Also researching my grandmother Anna Wujcik.
