My ggrandfather, IGNATZ KEGLER, his wife<MAGDALENA POSCH KEGLER, together with
six children (including my grandfather, FERDINAND)left from what is now
Bubendorf, Burgenland (but was then, I believe, Lantosfalva, Vas Megye) in
l856. Don't know port or ship, but they spent seventy days at sea (according
to family lore) arriving at Winsted Minnesota to be the first Austrian
settlers in that area in the late fall of l856. Assuming the seventy days atr
sea and the trip inland (how, again,no idea)this would suggest a spring
departure.I'd be grateful for ship, port, dates,etc. Thans in advance for any
