Mor Moskovits was at this position in 1879, as well.

There is a book listing donations of nobility in Hungary between
1867-1918 by Jozsef Gero. It says Mor Moskovits of Zemplen, doctor of
medicine, resident in [Buda]Pest, his wife Amalia Boskovits and his son
Geza were granted nobility on Jun 29, 1867 by the emperor and king.
There is an other Moskovits, namely Lajos Moskovits of Zemplen, the
director general of the Hungarian-French Insurance Co., his wife Cecilia
Galtner and his children: Otto, Gyula, Bodog, Frigyes, Agosta and Fanny
were also given nobility on Apr 3, 1887.

The fact that the noble predicate for Mor Moskovits is Zemplen, which
county is not far from Szobranc's Ung county, makes it possible that
your Mor is identical with the above mentioned one. Still, this should
be justified by other sources. There have been a couple of families with
the surname Moskovits I believe.

Hope this helps.

Radix.
