Hello all,

I'm new to this group. I've just recently started to look into getting more
information on my Hungarian family history.

Ron McC.- I read your post about finding your wife's family in the 1828
census of Maramoros and think it must be the same place my father was born,
which I know as Maramaros Sighet (now Romania), in 1909. I would very much
like to know how to obtain a copy of such a census, or perhaps if you have
one, you would consider looking for my family name in it. Before being
Americanized to TESSLER, it was TESZLA or TESZLER.

I would greatly appreciate any help.
