Sorry, Marc, I'd take it anyway just to look through it.
Although I do not agree with the LDS point of view, I appreciate what they
do accurately, in that they take whole transcriptions of
parish registers and enter them into the FamilySearch database and
I've found with certain ones I've checked that the data is the same
as I have on photocopied sheets.
Someone told me that the LDS is working on photocopying all the pages in all
the books they hold in their library in Salt Lake City to put on line at
some future date. Since this doesn't include the actual parish registers
which they have mostly microfilmed from another microfilm or sometimes
microfilmed in an archive, we won't get those I don't think so it is still
plod, plod, plod.
