Hello all,

I'm descended from a Walloon, Noe COQUIDEE, who was registered as a stranger "borne beyond the seas" in Norwich, Norfolk, Engalnd in 1622. I would like to find out where in Europe he came from.

Noe was in Norwich from at least 1607 onwards as his chidren were baptised at the Walloon Church in Norwich. He was a comer in the weaving trade.

I have researched Bergues in France, and his family are not from there, so would appreciated any other pointers for that name on the Continent.
