Hello John:

I don't know if this will help find any of them but I knew a STAELE in San
Francisco (pronounced STAY-LEE) and have seen that name just recently
somewhere. When you are looking in the LDS familysearch do you use the
soundex search instead of the exact
lettering?

I'm trying to think of something else that may help, but can't bring it up
right now.
