The LDS has filmed records of these churches in Haarlem:

"Nederlands Hervormde" is Dutch Reformed
"Waals Hervormde" is Walloon Reformed.
They probably attended one of those.
The "Reformed" churches were all of Calvinist theology.
So, the "simple" view would be that they were similar.
The Synod of Dort (or Dordt) convened in 1618 established mainly points of doctrine. See:

I think this were followed by the "establishment" Dutch Reformed churches.
I'm not sure about the Walloon Reformed.
The Puritans that settled in Massachusetts also drew on Calvinist theology.
