Samuel Smiles indeed has a boatload to say -- bits of it oddly reminiscent
of Weiss ;-> -- on Huguenots in Ireland, and in his inimitable fashion has
several half-page footnotes that include various clues and pointers worth
looking into.
My usual caveat: Smiles was not a scholar, and he was definitely the leader
of the Society For The Restoration Of Huguenot Descendents' Social Standing,
so take care when reading, and verify everything with other sources.
