I assume that requirement to solemnize marriages extended to Christenings as well?
I may have assumed too much about "Non-conformity". I thought it included the Calvinists from abroad
as well.

guess this is evidence that these peoples need to fit in. But why would they still be listed as
Nonconfomist? Was this just a front to make them seem less like "strangers"? And why did this doctor
