Subject: Nonconformist Registers, Dr William's Library

Folks,
Has anyone ever looked into the Nonconformist Registers of Dr William's Library? This appears to be
a document containing the names of London Nonconformists. It is interesting that some of the people
in this register are also shown in seperate documents as Christened in the Church of England. I
guess this is evidence that these peoples need to fit in. But why would they still be listed as
Nonconfomist? Was this just a front to make them seem less like "strangers"? And why did this doctor
feel the need to list them in the first place?
Shane
