Folks,

Is it possible an earlier group of Walloons/Huguenots arrived in the Fens well before the 1630s
arrivals in Sandtoft? I have a record of a John Tarry b: 1601 in Swineshead, Lincoln. I think this person
might be of Walloon or Huguenot descent. Swineshead is part of the Fen, I just don't know what the
circumstances for being in Swineshead would be, if not for the purpose of draining.
