I just thought I might post my surname again, it has been a while. Searching
my ancestor Laux JENTER born circa 1580, possibly in the Alsace Lorraine area
in France, fled to Germany in early 1600's and settled in Heselwangen,
Germany which is about 1 hour south of Stuttgart. Our surname is rare. There are
maybe 200 or so of us in USA/Canada and many more in Germany. We believe we
all descend from Laux. Would love to hear from anyone who may have run across
our surname.
