Hi Phyl,
Today you wrote:-
"I have a LeFerve line that comes into England 1555 approx. Robert
Leferve lived in Thorney, Cambridgeshire it is possible he lived in
Sandtoft prior to Thorney."
Perhaps I have missed some mailings but I don't understand the point /
question you are making / asking.
It is generally understood that the immigrant settlements at Sandtoft
and Thorney were established c 1625 - 1635 for the drainage workers and
subsequent settlers.
What is the location of your 1555 line and what is the connection with
Robert at Thorney?.....or is that what you are trying to establish?
I am researching the family Hairsine / Haresign / Hersin and variants
who were at Sandtoft and Thorney after 1655 and may have come from near
Bethune in Pas de Calais.
