Hi Guys

Whilst moving some of the books around in the Hug Library today I came across a nifty little pamphlet, nicely bound, called The Huguenots in Exeter, written by Colonel Ransom Pickard, given at the Devonshire Association for the Advancement of Science, Literature and Art, 1930. It runs to about 40 pages, there is a supplement plus hand made annotations to update the material.

It contains a couple of hundred names, several of which are know through the rootsweb groups, SEDDON and ANGIERS being just two, BMDs, apprenticeship records and some local governmental rolls.

I will do look ups, but only for names where there is a known connection with Exeter or the west country, so please guys, no 'I'm desperate, can you just have a look for me' stuff.

I'm happy to make copies of the paper and post it on to those with an interest, email me privately to make arrangements as there will be a small charge - Tom ANGERS and Andrew SEDDON, there are references for you both in case you don't already have them.

Regards

Tony Fuller
