Morning Peter and fellow listers
OK Peter, reaching for my copy of 'A Huguenot Family in the XVI Century: The Memoirs of Philippe de Mornay', written by his wife and edited by Lucy Crump, it appears that:
The daughter of Jean and Charlotte was Suzanne de Pas (aka de Martinsart), who married M de la Verrie in 1597
The de Mornay's had three sons and two daughters who died in early infancy, plus several daughters who survived into later life and married.
Their eldest and only surviving son was also a Phillipe, who was born 1579 in Antwerp and was killed at the Battle of Geldern in (I think) 1605
There is nothing that I can see in the list of their children (in the index) that mentions a Judith, nor anything under de Mornay or de Plessis for Judith.
Hope this helps Peter - the book in the Broadway Translations series, published London but undated (probably pre-1950) is widely available through the Internet and is well worth buying.
Regards
Tony Fuller
