The Conference is really a small 'catch up' conference for people involved in the project on the Huguenot soldiers in the Williamite Army. I don't think it is going to be that big and I'm not sure how much publicity it will have. I've been asked to do a paper because I research the British in India and have unearthed a huge number of Huguenot descended people who served as soldiers in the East India Company Armies between 1700 and 1862.

One of these was the Delamains, who featured in an article in Huguenot Families No 8, just as I was starting the commission on the family for Jack and Kinta Delamain who are also Huguenot descended. And it's that family I'm giving the paper on, well, Jack's line in that family - now they are REALLY interesting!!

If I get any further information about the conference, I'll spread it around.
