I want to thank all the recent members who have been posting on the
history of the Huguenots and also on the religious terminology. I have
found time and time again that a knowledge of the history of the times,
word derivations, and seemingly extraneous information has later helped
me while tracking an elusive ancestor. The list has been very enlightening.
I would be very interested in learning more about the assimilation
of the Huguenots into the Anglican church, particularly in Ireland.
