I have found information that a Samuel Demarest fought with the New
Jersey Volunteers during the Revolution, and I have also read that a
Samuel Demarest fought with the rebels as well, the Albany Battalion?
Corp? Is there any Demarest family experts on board? Is this the same
Samuel Demarest?

I would be interested in any Demarest family stories about fighting on
opposites sides of this conflict. My great-great grandmother was Phoebe
Jane Demara Stone, daughter of Frank Demara and Caroline Wanamaker of
Ontario.
