Thanks for the tip Barbara, it is a difficult one as I am not totaly sure
that I am of Huguenot descent, my surname of Ollier is evident in Cheshire
back to the 1600's where as the main exodus of the Huguenots to the UK seems
to be around the 1690's by which time we were well established, the earliest
record I know of in my area of Chehire is recoded as Allohiere in 1572 as to
wether this is the same lot I am not sure. But one thing I am sure of is
that the vast majority of the OLLIER's in the world are in France hence the
hunch. Thanks for your help.
