This is a Message Board Post {MBP} which is being
gatewayed (ie. forwarded) to the list by me, your list
concierge.
It's from Richard who's a brand-new HWE subscriber.
Therefore, if you would like to reply to Richard's
message, please do so *on the list* rather than on the
Board.
I realise that this is different from the usual reply
procedure for Board posts, but replying on the list in
this case will prevent the possible scenario of having
list subscribers communicating with each other via the
Boards. Andrea (as list concierge)

Message Board Post as follows:

I an trying to obtain further details about Charitee FOREE,
who I believe married into the PRESTON family in or around
Cork in the early 1800s. An elderly relative wrote (in 1980)
"my mother's great grandmother was called Charitee FOREE
and was proud of her Huguenot ancestry. She said her family
were silversmiths and had some silver spoons with C.FOREE
engraved on them and that she was told that an earlier ancestor
had 'come over in a barrel of nuts'.
Any suggestions? Richard
