I am very pleased that the How I Got Here topic
generated some badly-needed new postings on the list.
And so quickly too!
Many thanks to the 18 subscribers who contributed the
24 new posts (some people posted more than once). And,
not for the first time, I notice that our subscribers can be
counted on to post interesting and intriguing information.

Now, note that I said 18 subscribers responded. Yes,
that means we still have well over 300 not heard from, at
least so far. I'm hoping that many of them are busy
preparing their own responses but have not yet sent them
to the list. However, the topic doesn't have to be How I Got
Here if the subject doesn't interest you or if you've already
posted on the topic in the past.

I hope this re-newed list activity continues. As I said,
I cannot carry this list alone -- I need *you* (one and all)
to contribute. It is *your* list, not mine. And, like most
things in life, it must be nurtured and encouraged in
order to thrive. Once again, thanks to everyone who
