I can confirm that the Pittards from Switzerland are well documented at the
Bibliotheque Genealogique in Paris and covers the 16th and 17th centuries.

| in London in early 1800s. Stephen DORMAN is the earliest one I can find.
He
| had a daughter Charlotte christened in 1798. He was a tailor in 1841
| directories. I can't find any birth or death. He married at least twice in
| London.

| The Warrs turned up in Bristol/Somerset. Apparently they were de la Warre
| earlier on. John and Elizabeth WARR were the parents of Ann who was born
| 1812 in Bristol, Gloust. She married my James Alfred PITTARD in 1833 in
| Walcot. I have no idea where they originated.
