Hello list.
I am trying to find out about emigrants to England who worked on the
drainage of the Fens.
I am interested if anyone has done research. I have been told of the book
the River Makers but wonder if anyone can help with my investigation into
the BOOLS name and its origins. It has been suggested it originates from
BOELS and my be Flemish/Dutch.
Look forward to hearing from someone!
Jane
