I feel rather fortunate to have been asked to watch the list for you! I
have thoroughly enjoyed my "lurk"! :)
From what I've seen thus far, am sure you have no worries where the list
is concerned. You seem to have a helpful, friendly bunch!
I do have a question, that has occurred to me, for you or anyone on the
list who can answer. Did these
people...the Huguenots have a dress code? This whole thing is very
interesting and fascinating for me, as my husband's ancestors were
Quakers. Not that there is a similarity, but the history, I guess is what
is so fascinating to me. That's true of genealogy in general, IMO. I have
always loved history, and learning about our forebears and why they
migrated, and how they lived has always held a fascination for me.
Anyway, the reason I asked about the dress code, is because some of my
husband's ancestors came from Ireland, and the pictures of them look like
they were dressed according to some type of code. Long shot, but one never
knows. :)
