Hi Malinda,

It sounds to me, that KEEVER is not exactly a Huguenot-name; but then who am I to say this?! One never knows with names, really.

According to me, and I have been away from Holland for the last 53 years, KEEVER is the name for a little bug.It definitely is a Dutch name, hence perhaps that you did not find it in the German sources.That this name appeared rather frequently in the British records, is a bit surprising to me, but here again, one never knows.
