Hi all
I may be way off the mark but I have a query regarding a surname in my family.
The name is Dutchman in Norfolk England,1760-1814,myGGGGGGrandparents were Fransis and Susanna Dutchman,I have traced these people back to 1760 in Swaffam England,It is a unusaul name and I cant find anytrace of it in Norfolk now.
There is another name that occurs in the same area and that is Duchemin and I wonder if Dutchman is a English version of Duchemin or even if Dutchman is some way related to Holland.
Any help would be apprecated.
Regards to all .
