Bon jour, dear listers -- just thought I would pass through quickly with my
list janitor's broom for a quick tidy-up <g>, as follows --

** Several listers have contacted me privately concerning Pierre's recent
dilemma re: attachments and asking how to post their long family trees. I
would suggest the cut (or copy) & paste method to transfer your data from
the existing document and into the body of your e-mail.

** May I please request that *all* SURNAMES posted to the list be in capital
letters, as per our list guidelines (both in subject line and body of
message). This makes those names more evident to other readers, thus
increasing your chances that someone will notice them.
For those who are unaware of our list guidelines, they are available
through the list archives which can be accessed at
http://searches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl . The guidelines are also
included in the welcome message that everyone receives when they subscribe
to the list. If you did not save/print yours, you can get a new one by
unsubscribing and immediately re-subscribing again.

** If you find that this list is not to your liking and you want to
unsubscribe (and, if this is the case, sorry to see you go), please send
your unsubscribe message to

different from the address to which you should post messages (ie. it has the
word *request* right before @rootsweb). Instructions for unsubscribing are
also included in your welcome message.
