<snip> Faithful HIPPLE was dau of James HIPPLE and Susan FISCHER/FISHER. I
don't have a death date for Susan, but she died after James did. James is
buried at Zion Lutheran in Spring City.
Where is James Hipple buried in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery? Does he have a
headstone? I have looked all over that cemetery and did not find any stone
for him. He is the father of my ggrandmother Lusetta Hipple that I have been
trying to trace for many years. She was the mother of my grandfather Harry
James Wells. Harry's father was reportedly a James Wells, however I have
been unable to find any reference to a marriage between James Wells and
Lusetta Hipple, birth record of Harry, or death record for Lusetta. I have a
copy of the will of James Hipple which in both the will in 1875 and proved
in 1879 lists Lusetta as Lusetta Hipple with no mention that she was married
and no grandchild Harry Wells is listed although he was born abt. 1868.
Harry was living with Susan Fisher and listed as "grandson" in the 1880
census which is the only census that I have been able to find him in until
after he moved to New Jersey and married in 1896. Lusetta disappears after
the 1860 census and only shows up in the will of her father in 1875.
