When Mike Ziegler and I were in Chester Co for the SAVAGE reunion last July, we went to Shenkel Reformed Cemetery in N Coventry and found 3 more children of AJ and Mary Ann buried there - Milton, William H and Franklin. They were born and died between the censuses and we wouldn't know about them otherwise. I have posted their tombstones and dates on the Chester co archive board at
http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/pa/chester/shenkel.htm
It was hard trying to figure out the initials of the parents, but we finally enhanced them and were able to see AJ and MA HIPPLE!
Thanks, Jacqui for your note and file!

Hi Don and Diana,
I am still here! Hello cousin Don!! I am descended from Lus(c)etta Hipple-the sister of A. J. (Andrew Jackson) Hipple. She disappears after the 1860 census, but is still alive to be recorded in father James's will in 1875. As no change was made or found to the will before he died in 1879 she may have still been alive in 1879. Her reported spouse/partner and father of son Harry James Wells (my grandfather) was a James Wells, however I still have not been able to find any marriage record to anyone for Lusetta. In the 1880 census son Harry is living with widow Susanna Fisher Hipple, listed as grandson, but I can't find Lusetta anywhere.
I have been to the East Vincent Reformed Church Cemetery and have documented and taken pictures of the headstones of Hannes (John) and Faithful Strickland Hipple. They are not in good shape, but partially readable. I have been unable to find the burial for James and Susanna Fisher Hipple although they are reportedly buried in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, East Pikeland Twp., Chester Co., PA. They may not have a stone or it may false information. I am willing to share my information with you on what I have in my files and would be interested in your information from Edward/Edwin if you are so inclined.
Diana I thank you for all of the help that you have given me over the years in my Hipple research. You were the one that got me started with my Hipple ancestors. You have been so helpful and it is greatly appreciated
Jackie Wells Lubinski
