Generation No. 1

1. JOHANNES1 HIPPELL was born Abt. 1698 in Germany, and died April 1749 in
Vincent Twp., Chester Co., PA.

Notes for JOHANNES HIPPELL:
Administration of Johannes Hippel: "To Lawrence Hippell of the County of
Chester, Son of Joannes Hippell Decd. # 61, Greeting, 1749 Memorandum that
Letters of Administration in Common form were granted to Lawrence Hippell
above named on the Estate Late of the said Johannes Hippell his father Decd
Inventory to be exhibited on or before the 4th day of June next and account
on or before the 5th day of May anno 1750. Given under the seal of the
said office the the day of May 1749. Wm Plumsted Reg Gene."

Inventory of Johannes Hippel: "We Lawrence and Heinrick and Adam Hippell of
the County of Chester in the Province of Pennsilv. Inventory of Real Estate
and Personal Estate of John Hipple of Vincent township in the County of
Chester. Blacksmith May 4th 1749"

Johannes was the father of Lornez Hipple. Lorenz and the children born
before 1738 are said to have come to Philadelphia with their father. See
Records of Trappe Chruch (Augustus Lutheran) in PA German Society
Proceedings. Vol. VII, p. 481. (See HIP 239, Handwritten Geneology Notes
obtained from Chester County Historical Society).
