My ancestor was Eleanor Hippele. She was from Munich, Germany.
Eleanor immigrated to America with her mother Anna in about 1902.
They lived in New Jersey.
Oral Family Tradition said that Ann had another sister that lived in
America also. I think New York. I have not been able to find her yet.

I am just starting my research on my father side of the family this is what
i have so far..my father name was Gerald Hipple his father name was Lester
Hipple SR 03/05/1909 ohio we think) His mother Stella we don't know his
father name. Lester married 2 ladies one Mildred Mae Chance and Evelyn
Pierson he had 5 children with these to women. Aslo a question was the
hipple name every shortened? We believe they came From Germany, Any help or
were to go for help would be of help...Thanks for you time....EDITH
