I've "rescued" an old photograph of Lee Hipple taken at the J. Patterson
Studio in Kingsley, Iowa. Lee is pictured with a young girl who I believe
might be Mamie KRAFFEL. In addition to his name someone has also written
"Dr. HIPPLE'S boy" on the back of the photograph. I would guess that the
photo was taken in the 1870's or 1880's with Lee appearing to be about 2
years of age and the "unidentified" girl about 3-6 years of age.

I'm hoping to find Lee's family so that the photograph can be returned to
its rightful place. If you are a member of this family or know someone who
might be, please contact me.
